The pill and your period

Okay, I'm on the pill and this is the first month that I'm on the placebos pills so I can have my period. My question is, how many days after taking the last bc pill do I have to wait until I get my period? It's been 3 days already.

I usually get it 5 days after starting the placebo run. However, as this is your first month, there's really no telling. I've been on the pill for almost 6 years now, so my cycle is clockable. You'll probably be able to predict it after a couple of months.

When I get it do I just let it take it's course? Or do I start up with the pill again when the week of placeebos is done?

Yeah, when the placebos are done, just start in on the next pill pack. You should be taking a pill everyday, regardless of your cycle. Your cycle will regulate itself to the pill. Also - the pill doesn't actually perform its function (preventing conception) in the first month or two.
