Women should be able to take time off when they are on. Mine is heavy this month & i'm feeling rough.

Nothing a little midol can't fix.

I don't get midol. It doesn't work for me. I may have a problem with being difficult to anesthetize. I could only feel relief from cramps and bloating when I took five.

See your gynecologist (or regular doctor, I guess). There are prescription cramp medications which work WONDERS.

I used to take Bextra, before it was pulled from the shelves. It might have been dangerous, but DAMN it did its job.

Eh, you just need to deal with it. If you have to work you have to work. I guess you are just too young to understand right now. Shit yesterday I just started my period and what a bitch that is because when I get it my cramps come from hell. But i still had to work and when you work sometimes you tend to start feeling better because when you keep yourself busy you forget all about them. It is better to work then just lay around the house all day like a slump.

I don't think that having them at work is so terrible. It's when you get them in school that it sucks. You can't leave the room to go change your pad/tampon, and when you are able to do that and you run to your locker first you get yelled at for making side trips. Yep. I think that's an excuse for a sick week if I ever heard it.

I so agree. I dont' think guys understand how exhausting it can be. I mean, I used to get my period every other week. I mean, it's like bleeding to death. And the cramps. Holy shit, the cramps. Cramps no amounts of Vicaden can quell... :sword:

OMG, I hate going to school with my period. Especially since I have this one prof who WILL NOT LET ME LEAVE THE CLASS. It's a two hour class...
