The grass whispers
In the breeze
While prancing hooves
crush autumn leaves
Frolicking in the sun
With her head held high
And a golden horn
Thrust towards the sky...
Is a unicorn
All dressed in white
Except for shiny hooves
As black as night
With grace and beauty
She dances alone
Until suddenly she stops
And pricks her ears
To a sound from behind
Then slips into the trees
In the forest of my mind.
In the breeze
While prancing hooves
crush autumn leaves
Frolicking in the sun
With her head held high
And a golden horn
Thrust towards the sky...
Is a unicorn
All dressed in white
Except for shiny hooves
As black as night
With grace and beauty
She dances alone
Until suddenly she stops
And pricks her ears
To a sound from behind
Then slips into the trees
In the forest of my mind.
