Does anyone know of any place that allows you to try the piece of shit before you buy it?
I'm looking into buying a PSP and I have not been able to find one single store who will let me play with it for 2 minutes (or even touch it). Most of their excuses are that "Due to the fact that PSPs are extremely fragile, we will not be placing them on display".
My brother broke his, and he said I shouldn't buy one. Are they that bad? Other than the fact that the screen easily breaks, I'd like one. Shit, it runs Mac :tongue:
my understanding is that they don't let you look at the fucking thing because then you'll count all the dead pixels and say "i don't want this one", and try another and another and so on until you get one with less than 5 dead pixels..
if you want to try one before you buy go to 'anyhighschool anytown' and just grab one off the fat kid.. ;)
won't eb/gamestop let you try one?
get a ds, better games.. really, psp games are pretty, ds games are addictive.. which is what gaming is about imo..

I looked at DS - 2 screens confuses me.
Maybe I'll pull out the X-Box from the closet.. I haven't played that in months, and I've got a subscription to that shit.

Wonder what kind of console Apple would come out with. Game developers would have trouble with that one, especially since there are hardly any games for Macs right now.
It would be nice to have a video AirPort. I'd buy it.

That's probably your best bet. Ask about used ones, then ask if you can try it out before you buy it.
