I voted no, allthough I don't use drugs.

In the Netherlands, we don't have drug problems.
We have problems with a lot of smugglers that use our cities as a transito place for all kinds of drugs.
Cocaïne smugglers are put on a toilet to remove their shit.
Then their identity is noted, and they get kicked out of the country.
It saves our country a lot of legal costs.

We have a strong difference between soft and hard drugs.

Personally I don't mind people using mariuhana or even hash in their own time, as long as they don't walk in their work stoned.
The same as with people using alcohol.
They are sent back home when typsy.

Marijuana? legalize it and tax the shit out of it. If you are talking about legalizing things such as heroin and things of that nature, hell no! Also, if you legalize marijuana, there would have to be laws of consumption just like alcohol. There have been so many studies on the effects of marijuana that they have all wound up being contradictory. I think it should be controlled in the same ways as alcohol. Otherwise, you would have a bunch of tards running around in the streets just like you would if alcohol wasn't controlled as strictly as it is.

I don't understand what the big deal is with drug policies. Most drug abolishionsist paint a picture of mass devistation if drugs are legalized. Amsterdam doesn't seem like that. I think that it speaks badly of a government's faith in its people when they have to prohibit substances that can be used responsibly.
