New Default Skin: Red Rage

Hello.

If you do not have your options currently set to display the default skin of our site, you can choose it by going into your options and choosing "Red Rage" or just scrolling to the bottom of our site and choosing the Red Rage style in the pulldown style chooser.

For those of you who like to have their websites full screen we'll have our Red Rage - X style available in the next 24 hours. That version will allow you to view the website as wide as you could possibly want.

A special thank you to John & BlindChild for their exhaustive help in making this style a reality!

More surprises are in store for the site shortly, so stay tuned!

Just wondering, do you have any plans to make a Red Rage like the Blue Hell and turn this into a Red Rage overdrive or something? I enjoy this style more (especially the banner), but like Unforgiven said, it's a bit hard on the eyes.

red is cool and all but i think it will only add more subliminal 'grrr factor' to those amongst us suffering anger issues.. maybe a good thing..

but i love blue hell overdrive too much to voluntarily let go of it.. i have this theory that not only is it calming but also gives me a lesser degree of 'monitor eye'.. those reddened raw things i get in my head when i read white pages all night..

As with any multi skin setup, yes coloring your text can have ill effects for those viewing on other color schemes...

i didn't know if you set it up so it would automatically be yellow or whatever the opposite/negative is of red..

if i post a quote, say from news, i sometimes highlight in red the most relevant bit..

i'll just underline from now on..

White hurts my eyes.

Must be because very few of the websites I visit have white backgrounds. :happysad:

Or maybe because I hate light colors.

Oh, wow, I just changed to the Red Rage and it's pretty snazzy, I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. :D

The alternate Red Rage scheme I'm playing with will actually be a Red Rage / Gray hybrid called exhaust. ;)

If it's successful we might also make exhaust available with the blue header as well. We'll see.
