Humanity hasn't failed. Humanity is on a certain time scale. You know how when you were born, at first you were unable to communicate, then you raged at about age two or so and as life went on, you kept meeting new people? As you met those new people, you didn't like some of them and felt inclined to fight them? How you kept fighting until it got to a point where you were roadworn and weary and decided you didn't want to fight people anymore? How when you reached that peace in your mind, dying didn't seem so bad at all? Humanity right now is at a point where we are fighting, but a lot of fighting has diminished and a good share of people are getting along(hence NATO). No, not everybody gets along, but the day will come when humanity is ready to reach peace. Not now. Humanity will die out when it feels comfortable dying out.
why do we care for those that never cared for us
I don't think anybody would waste their time caring for someone you didn't think had the potential to care about you back. Likewise, there are probably people who attempt to care about you and see you as someone with potential that want you to realize it and see something in them. People stop caring when all hope is lost.
For an answer to the crying...think of the tears as your frustration flowing out of your face. You know how you always feel better after crying? It's a simple thing and it works wonders.

Please tell me you, or whoever the original writer of these questions is, are not thinking of commiting suicide? These questions sound a lot like the sort of questions a suicidal (or someone about to die in any form who hasn't accepted the idea) would ask.

Goddamnit, am I the only one that realizes that all this is an act? Ever since I read his "great american noval", I knew. It seems so obvious when you just look closely. He's always dropping hints. He's one of the site's most successful trolls, and even though he's irritating, I have to say he's done a good job. He's convinced almost everyone that he's legit. He's like some kind of idiot savant. Sort of like an unrefined Johnny Kuntz.

For Elf, did you make this up? If so, then calling someone stupid because they don't follow your own abstract thinking is what's stupid... I have a brother who does this crap all the time. He thinks because it's SO obvious to him - duh, he comes up with the shit- we're stupid for not seeing it. :rolleyes:
