We're currently working on expanding each DJs archives. Who better to help us out than the people we made it for? Name some song/artists/albums you'd like to hear, or just flat out enjoy. We'll do our best to get them onair.

Thanks

The short of it is this - I have about 10,000 songs in my library, and can't really begin to narrow it down to a list of songs and/or artists that would be reasonably sized to post here.

I suppose I like Rilo Kiley and Death Cab for Cutie quite a bit and haven't heard either of them much on the station.

Rock, in general. I would say classic rock but I don't want to limit it to just that. Everything from the late 60's to present day, from Iron Butterfly, Hendrix, the Doors, Foreigner, Judas Priest, Ozzy, (even a bit Def Leppard - just for me ;) ), Aerosmith, AC/DC, Red Hot Chilipeppers, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Black Crows, Creed, Slipknot, Audioslave... I could go on, but I'm already getting excited so I'll just stop. ;)

Edit: forgot the Chilipeppers... I'm so ashamed. :(

And now for something completely different. (Thank you, Monty Python)

I enjoy listening to jazz, blues and swing from the 30s-60s. Although your listening audience would probably consist of me and only 2 or 3 others, the following are some of the artists who get my toes to tapping and my shoulders swaying: Glenn Miller, Ella Fitzgerald, Mel Torme (scat), Billie Holiday, Miles Davis, Cab Calloway, Sarah Vaughn, Charles Mingus, Dave Brubeck, Charlie Byrd, The Andrew Sisters, Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis, Louis Armstrong, Dave Brubeck, Anita O'Day, Cleo Laine, Ahmad Jamal, Duke Ellington, Fats Waller, John Coltrane, Cole Porter .....

Think I need to grab a glass of wine and "begin the beguine".

You're joking... right? Really... I mean you don't say "classic ROCK" or even the word "rock" with Michael Bolton in the same sentence. In fact, I think in some countries the utterence of his name alone is cause for public flogging, if it's not it should be....

Oh, yeah, I love jazz too, well, most anyway. I'd be cool with jazz and some old swing.

Wow ok maybe its just me but I like some kinda rap. I was just surprised to see no one even said Eminem but maybe Im the only one that likes his older stuff and a bit of his new stuff I say Role Modle works very well for the type of people that are here. Listen to it and you will see most people in here sound like that.
