I own my own domain name and site, so I have my own email... and gmail works too. But a wtf.com email would be just kickass, I must admit.

Likely each individual wouldn't pick their email address and user name seperately, as to avoid confusion.
Of course, that's assuming it gets implemented in the first place.

Well vs post count I think it should be based on time registered on the site and daily post count. If a user stops being active and their posts/day number falls then their email acount is made inactive.
The numbers shouldn't be unreasonable, but I think the minimums should be somewhere around 6-10 months with no less than 1 post a day .. most of you probably think that those requirements aren't strict enough, but with being a highschooler with extra curriculars, and not having access to a computer for more than a couple hours on a given day, a post a day is reasonable.
