I realise this is a bit of a jack-ass question because it's damn near impossible to pick just one. If I had to choose only one, that I would actually drive around vs. keeping it in a climate controlled garage (a la Ferris Bueller's Day Off) I think I would choose the timeless style of the BMW Z7.

It'd be a tough choice between my car all done up the way it is in my dreams:

(As it stands now):

But I've got to be honest and say if I could have any car in the world and I seriously had to choose ONLY ONE, price no object, it'd have to be one of these:

I'm not posting this just to be different or extreme. I've had my eye on this for a few years. It's been promised to go down in price once it's in mass production. I really hope that it comes down to the projected $50,000 during my lifetime. I want the red one on the homepage.

2000 Audi S4.

That mosler will never happen without full computer control. People can barely handle driving with only 2 dimensions to deal with, could you imagine if we added another one? Plus the accident survival rate would plummet with not only the collision with other vehicles, but then again with the ground some 500" below. Sure it would be cool, I just cannot for see it happening within my lifetime.

Yes, I can imagine it. They're called 'pilots', those people you're thinking of and it's not rocket science to add the third dimesion to the 'driving' experience.

Anyway, here's a replacement image of a more usable size. *hint* ;)

edit: Kiwi, same here. Have always liked the Vette as well. I was stoked when they released the body style in your pic.

Right, I guess I was thinking these taking over the automobile as we know it today. I suppose we could have both. I really doubt a flying car would become our main mode of transportation. The amount of schooling you would have to go through would be insane. The laws regulating their use would have to be very strict, the police would have to have on(or a chopper) on call at all times, in all cities that have the mosler. Imagine a bank robber with one of these in a city where the nearest air support is 20 min away, that fucker would make out with boat loads of cash, pretty much uncontested after he left the bank. I guess I just cant see how the mosler would become a reality outside of govt use.

71-72 Novas are some of the finest looking automobiles ever produced, in my opinion.

I was considering getting one to restore, and then I remembered that I don't even have a garage.

Staying within the realm of realism (I'd love to buy an Aston Martin Vanquish, but it is unlikely that I will have the opportunity) I'd love to have the '08 Infiniti G37 coupe, or perhaps the M45.
