So a friend of Darklings got this news that a mere hour away they would be filming the final scenes for a horror movie and needed zombie extras. The only pay would be free zombie makeup and free beer.
Well I was sold. I made a few phone calls to get more people. Unfortunately it was about 30 hours away so not many people could afford a whole day on that short notice (not to mention we'd have to leave at 5am and spend the whole day in the sun). So there ended up only being 4 of us.
Leaving so early we all crashed at my house the night before. Well with all of us together we decided to watch a horror movie before actually crashing out... which had us up till 230am-ish. Alarms went off at 430am-ish and we were up and out.... already in a zombie-like state.
The first 5ish hours were spent in makeup. Getting the hundred+ people to look like the undead. As soon as that was done we were on our way to the shoot location! The movie is called "The Dead Walk" and that's what we did quite a bit of:

The day was fun as hell. There are over 100 pictures up on myspace if you're interested (address is in my profile) It's set to 18 and up, sorry young'ns.
Apparently the movie is done filming and it'll be out once editing is over. The premier will be in a large theater in Orlando. It's an independant film so I don't know if it'll get widespread release or not. I'll keep you posted. :thumbsup:
