Hey y'all. I went to Santa Cruz for 4/20, along with about 5,000 people.

4/19: The Beginning

We staid in my friend's apartment/dorm.

Then we did mushrooms, smoked, and drove. After this, we got lost in a huge forest/meadow and got separated from the dude in the picture for about 6 hours. We found him though. It was a hella sick trip.

After that we went home, smoked hella, and all passed out at around 8:00, having smoked ourselves under the table thoroughly.

They're all done by students attending the university and re-painted pretty often. I have no idea who did that, probably a few different people.

What I wonder is, how do you manage to smoke out in the open like that without getting in trouble?

There were actually hella cops there. The thing is, Santa Cruz voted to make Marijuana-related crimes the county's lowest priority, so once ALL crime has ceased, they can enforce on marijuana. The cops are there to keep the peace.

I love Santa Cruz :D It's about the same here, except it's more legal...

I live in Monterey which is pretty much outside of Santa Cruz. I have to say I wasn't all that enamored on 4/20.
