yeah so i fell off the other night, got a few cuts and bruises and a mysterious chest pain. it might be a tendon or ligament or perhaps some muscular bruising, but it hurts whenever i cough or hold my breath.
is it possible that i may have slightly damaged my right lung during the fall? i'm kinda worried about this.

Could have a cracked rib that if left untreated could puncture your lung causing an almost instaneous build up that will essentially drown you in your own blood.

You really shouldn't be asking this type of question on a forum. You should go see a doctor.
If you do not have insurance, I suggest ride it out and see what happens. The worst thing that could happen as bigck stated, you can drown in your own blood and die a painful death.

yeah you're all right, it turned out to be a cracked rib. nothing life threatening, i just have to take it easy for a while, and it's recommended i take some analgesics for the pain.
one of the most common complaints from cracked ribs is the unbearable agony of turning over in bed. that's exactly what i've been experiencing.
it's probably going to take about 3 months to heal, which is something to look forward to i guess.
it's a big relief because for a while there, silly old me thought i was having heart problems. :rolleyes:

its unlikely, but you dont wanna take a risk of something like that because it could really fuck your world up if you dont take care of it asap.

no, you have to lose your bottom (floating) ribs in order to do that.

quit hanging shit on me for being so humble (falling off my bike and landing on the ground)
we all have to learn from our mistakes, and realize it's time to see a doctor when you start coughing up tiny black particles in your phlegm, FUCK I NEED TO SEE A DOCTOR, and it was a coincidence today when i discovered doctors really appreciate their patients being honest with them. should i tell him i smoke a considerable amount of pot?
