older women, younger men?

ok gals tell me, is it as acceptable for women to date much younger men as it is for men to date much younger women? is society's reaction equivocal or not? please explain.

i don't see anything wrong w/ dating a much younger man, however there is a HUGE limitation as i, myself am still young. so i wouldn't date a teenager, etc. but if when i turned 40, and wanted to date a man in his 20's i'd go for it, no doubt! as for society, ahhh my first reaction would be who fuckin' cares followed closely by a "no one does". certainly perceptions have changed since my grandmom/dad or parents were young...a good thing too, b/c i plan on getting my grove on till i'm dead! LOL

In my oppinion it is defianetely ok for older women to date younger men. I am young too but I always date younger men. I just seem to have a lot more fun with them. And if I had the chance to date a man in his 20's when I am like 40 I would go for it too. It really doesn't matter what society thinks. In the end all that matters is what you think. Just look at Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore (21 and 40). Do they really seem to care? I think all women should just do what they think is right.

I don't believe in double standards. One of the many things that both men and women can do is date. Older, younger, same sex, opposite sex, doesn't matter as long as it's not robbing the cradle. I'm not sure that everything men can do women would want to do and visa versa, but dating a younger man/woman is something I see nothing wrong with if either wants to. Same thing goes with dating older people. Nothing wrong with that. If two concenting adults want to date each other and they dont' have an issue with age, then by all means! Go ahead!

although the double standards are slowly being lowered, i think there is still lots of it out there. i would like to think it don't exsist anymore but it does :sad:. i myself hope to help educate people in this area and open many womens eyes to the possability of dating a younger guy :tongue:
