The Yankees the most wins by any team in history, any sport period. Yeah, they suck. I would love to see Boston take it this year, but that just starts me on the whole A. Rod rant.

i'm happy boston didn't take a-rod, i like the team they've got
the yankees suck in the metaphorical sense - they certainly buy plenty of skill every year, but this year it won't do shit for them because boston's going allll the way

i am with you in both things. Boston is my fav team and to me them taking arod would be like transforming them into the yankees.

I was wearing an old Mariners hat the other day (gotta love the old skool trident) and this guy stops me in Home Depot.. he's all, "son, wearing that hat makes me realize just how much we suck now as we did in the 80s. There are certain eras that are best forgotten. Perhaps it's time to retire that hat?" I was dumbfounded, and taken aback. At the same time, it was one of the funniest things I've ever heard. Shook his hand, then was on my way to get my propane and propane accessories.
