Prom troubles

Ok:
1. why is it always so hard to find a date? This year I lucked out cuz I have a bf whose going with me, but still. It's damn hard.

2. why is it so hard to find a beautiful gown that fits you right?

3. Why does the dress you like the best cost so damn much?

4. Why are formal shoes so damn uncomfortable?

Prom stresses me out. I don't have a dress or a hairstyle picked out. It's pissin me off.

When is your prom? I was never that stressed out for my prom. Calm down and take it easy, it will naturally come to you what you need or want before prom. At least for me it did.

1. I dunno. I either had a bf or went with my best friend.

2. Plan ahead. Get it altered.

3. Because they know we'll pay. Bastards.

4. Buy flats. Put insoles in them.

If your hair is stressing you, go to a hairstylist and work with them. Tell them what your dress is like (backless, strapless, high neck, etc.) and they will hook you up.

Lastly, relax. Get a massage, kick back. This is supposed to be fun. Remember, there will probably be shitty music, so prepare yourself to get extremely silly and dance to something you hate. And it's not really a big deal, even if it sometimes seems that way.

Yeah prom does always seem stressful, my boyfriends is in 4 days and you'll see my whole rant about it in insigificant others.
Anywho, I got this black silk dress and it wasn't that much, and I can use it again aswell.
The hair fuck knows what I'm goona do.. I'll have to figure it out myself :confused: As I only have 4 days.
Shoes, Well ya know I've been wearing high heels for a long time, comes from wanting to go up like your mum to fast :tongue: haha.
But yeah have a good time, when is your prom?

My prom isn't for a while. It's April 30th. But I was also supposed to go to one of the best in the state with a friend's friend. But that doesn't look like it's gadda work out cuz I haven't heard from the friend in about a month now. Sucks ass. But that one woulda been April 16th.

The other thing is that I had this gorgeous green dress last year for prom and my mom wants me to wear it again this year. But I keep telling her that u can't wear the same dress two years in a row. But I got so many compliments and I really want that again. So I have to top last year's dress and I think I found one, but it's over $200 and I really can't afford that. Suck ass. :sad:

Aww, Well I'm sure people wouldn't mind that much. What do you think your going to do? raise the money? I don't have a PROPER dress. Do you think that matters? It is quite nice though, But it just like an evening black silk dress thats long. It will have to do, I can use it again afterwards so I guess its all good.

Thanks. I'm sure u'll look beautiful too. U'll have to post a pic afterward. And I found the dress that I just love. But it's $229. :sad: so my mom and I are gadda go looking for one just like it that costs less.

I am in college through a program called PSEO. It's where the state pays for high school students to go to college classes.

That is awsome, I wish we had that when I was in school. Shit, our school was not even fully credited...lol. That is why now the high school students here have to pass all or a certain amount of the Standard of Learning test in order to graduate, even if they make perfect grades and fail one test they can't graduate. They are doing that now so that way the school will become fully credited. I am glade I got out before that happend...haha
