q? when a man dis/likes either their mom and/or animals, is it significant?
is there a link between who they really are (rather than who they lead you to believe while trying to get into your pants) and their dis/like of mom and animals?

personally, it sounds an alarm if he hates his mom and/or animals...more so if i witness or hear a man being disrespectful to his mom, in front of her or behind her back.

i do think that if he treats his mom well, he'll worship you. granted, there are boundaries, like no "momma's boy". and if animals (like cats or dogs) in general don't really like him, it often is for good reason.

what do you girls think? i hope this is a good topic and receives the clam bar's response!

Well I mean I think a guy should respect his mom and everything but he should be able to make his own choices in his life not have his mom choose who he should or shouldnt date basically controlling. Plus I don't care if it's a guy or a chick if you're cruel to animals you should personally have your ass kicked. That's just my opinon on it.

Well sometimes you get to know a guy and think, "he's pretty good to me. he must have a great relationship with his mom." Then you meet the mom and find out she is the craziest fucking bitch on the planet.

And then there are the guys that almost literally worship you. And the trend with them that I find is that they wish they could have good relationships with their mothers, but can't for whatever reason.

If your cat doesn't like him, get rid of him. Your cat is so much more important than your man.

But seriously, if animals in general don't like him, he's creepy.

Some cats just hate everybody except their bitch, ahem, I mean their owner, and you can't go on THAT cat's judgment,and some ppl dislike a certain animal because of allergies; but if he hates animals, like all animals, with the exception of scorpions or something, then there is something seriously wrong with this person, like his soul was eaten at birth by a succubus or something equally heinous.

He doesn't like animals >> hit him in the face w/ a big floppy dildo to leave a dick print on his cheek >> dump his ass.

well one of my ex's didn't have anything to do with his family. alarms should have been ringing loud. he was alergic to cats but liked mine and they got along fine. but i'd have to agree on the family thing. one thing in this world i'm sure of. as the old saying goes, u can pick your friends, but you can't chose your family. no matter how disfunctional they may be, you are born into one, when something goes terribly wrong , they are their to help you, and when one day you shall die, they will be there with you and at your funeral. if a man dosnn't like his mom and/or family i believe there is something wrong with him, unless they are axe murders then hes exempt of this rule ;)
one day when he should have a family of his own that maybe a forshadow on how he will be with his family. if he can't get along with his mom/family, how will he be when he has one of his own? my ex couldn't be in a family or be a family man. he wanted everything to circle around his every being not around children or my life. if i couldn't do what he wanted he tantrumed. his mom was awsome, we got along great, so i don't know why he didn't like her, she was the best. to this day we are still friends(the mom) i'd adopt her any day if he continues to ignore her :rolleyes:

agreed, family life can be indicitive of who you really are. not neccessarily in a a good/bad judgemental way but it gives you a glimpse into their soul.

I know my bf wants nothing to do with his mother and for good reason. But he's the nicest guy and he wouldn't hurt a fly. So I don't know that it matters. But it's not something u should ignore either necesarily.(sp?)
