Ok, I have 2000 eclipse and i need a new stereo. Should i use two 12" subs ran off of one amp. or three 12" subs ran off of two amps. (customizing everything for it)..

Do you realize what kind of hearing damage 2 or 3 subs can cause?

Get yourself a reasonable system that doesn't bother the people around you. That doesn't include anything with 12 inch subs.

As stated above, you should save your money. I hate it when young kids spend all of their money in stupid add-ons to their cars. Why not save some $ and buy your self a fucking appt. :confused:

My opinion? The eclipse is a girls car. You might as well have bough a Miata, or a Beetle, perhaps a nice white ford probe. Just my opinion. Save your sound system money and buy a man's car. '05 Mustang GT, Acura RSX-S type, '65 camaro. something along those lines.

Who cares if its a chick car or not, I've seen some pretty bad ass eclipes(sp?) around here, what kind of 12" subs you running and amps as well?
Personally, I'd go with two 12" running off one 1000+ watt amp(800 watt works good too) but 3 12" running off two amps? That wouldn't sound right.
I like the way two 15" sound off two amps.. but thats pretty spendy.

ok you can call it a chick car but for a chicks car 150mph is fucking fast. and i am going with two 12"s. probly SPLs with a 6000 watt power accustic amp.. keep the opions coming though im always open to new ideas.

You don't need that much power for two 12's, at the most you need is 1200 for those good subs. That much power will blow your subs before you even realize it.
I'd probably go with the JL W7 12" subs, But those are really, really expensive.
But probably something with a decent price range for a sub and power, My friend had a Stage2 Rockford Fosgate Power sub, which produced a shitload of bass and it was under 200 bucks for one sub. Not bad, but thats what I'd go with.

dude get two Kicker L7 12" running off two amps....dude they hit hard....much better than JL Audio 12w7s

the spls are 1100 watts RMS each and they hit alot harder then the L7s when the right amp is added and the i messed up your right 6000 is to much
