Ethereal

Ethereal is a FREE network traffic analyzer/packet sniffer. It requires WinPcap packet capture library before it will run. Link for Pcap is on Ethereal website; http://www.ethereal.com. Download and install WinPcap first if you're running Windoze, then run and install Ethereal.
takes a little brainpower to interpret results; most of you losers are on your own, there.

have fun.

With some plug-ins. In the image I'm using quite a few, but they all depend on foo_ui_columns so install that first. The album art panel is foo_uie_albumart, the album list is foo_uie_albumlist and the formatting string I'm using is olight. Another one you might be interested in foo_uie_volume. You can find everything you need here - the plug-ins go in your Foobar directory in the components folder.

There are other plug-ins in that directory but they all require custom formatting strings to work. I do have the necessary code there as well, if you know where it goes.

maxthon http://www.maxthon.com/ a good IE (based on IE) substitue, tabbed browsing, popup and spyware block lots of plugins including a form of ad blocking websites read it as IE but it has none of the security holes, works well for sites that don't support firefox it also tells you how fast you are downloading a site, your Ip address (not sure why) and how much free memory your system has

I think that's a bit of a stretch, since it's mostly just a graphical/feature add-on to IE. Not to mention that it's susceptible to the new WMF exploit.

Edit: I find it funny that your mood icon says 'hacker,' yet you use an IE based browser.

I've seen a few poorly coded sites (horrible HTML, CSS or shitty ActiveX) that don't work with it, but there are the IEView or IETab extensions for that. I certainly wouldn't give up the features of firefox just because some people are incapable of creating compliant websites.

No i use firefox, never IE and yes some sites don't work well with firefox, some sites have scripts that cause (at least on my system) firefox to crash that and no flash games want to load for some dumb reason so i use maxthon for those sites it seems to work just fine as far as security holes i have yet to be hacked or get a virus while using it while before i switched to firefox/ maxthon i was hacked twice and had two viruses, good enough for me

Um basically, you dont get hacked through you web browser, so i think its just luck that you havent been hacked yet. Btw how did you know if you had been hacked? I think you should consider investing in a good firewall like blackice or zonelabs zonealarm!

Not hacked but hijacked, this includes XSS, installation of Spyware and other malicious scripts.
Internet Explorer has some very big holes not even a firewall can help you there but you shouldn't have a very big risk if you update as much as you can.

That's the problem, most users don't even recognize that there's something wrong with their pc.

I suggest blackice, zonealarm blocks a bit too much especially if you play games.

Yes im aware of hijacking, it sounds like bullshit, that is why i asked that question, it was a subtle way of saying 'i dont believe you'.

You can just set port rules in the custom settings for internet security, blackice for me was targetted by spyware, and zonealarm so far has worked beautifully, although it would be annoying to someone who wants a firewall that needs minimum configuration.

EDIT: Here is all the ports that most popular internet games use: http://www.nerdclub.net/alp/cowiki/17.html

ConTEXT is an awesome text editor that is infinitely better than Notepad. It has some subtle, but cool, features. These features include, but are not limited to: tabbed document editing, whole document capitalization changes, and syntax color variations for languages such as PHP, XML, and SQL. It kicks ass in my opinion.
