96 is the opposite of 69, and the person who set the prices was thinking about the porn they just enjoyed. 69.00 each was too cheap, so the person responsible added a zero, and wham! 690.00

Well, when considering the pre-tax price, 960.00, I agree, it is somewhat curious. However after the tax is added and the final price is reached, 986.40, I think it's pretty obvious.
