Some recent changes...
Hey,
Well, we got the underlying structure done on a few things however we're not quite finished yet...
A few changes that you might notice...
1) Shoutbox - We have done away with the old system, and are testing two new ones. I'm not yet sure which I prefer.
2) Thread Prefix Images - This should flesh out nicely as more and more people use them. They're more useful than the post icons (however you can choose to use them too, but they'll only show inside the posts).
3) Shop/Pwnies/Gifts - They're baaaaaack! We'll be tweaking this as we go, but I did as much customizing as I could in the time allotted.
4) "Ask A Ranter" - We now have our very own "Yahoo Answers" clone, third forum down in our index. This could turn out fun, or it could stink. See what you make of it. If you have a favorite answer, just click "best answer" and it will be featured right under your question. I'll probably enhance the look of the template further.
5) Topic of the Week (Temporarily Offline) - This will be activated in "B&T" and "Brain Droppings" to start. Choose your favorite topic, and a voting thread will automatically be created in the Feedback forum. Each round will have 5 choices. The winner automatically gets a little reward, as well as their statistics visible in their posts and profile. How many topics of the week can YOU write?

I'm sure our new members who didn't get to experience the pwnies era will enjoy it. As will those who had the experience of amassing a fortune in pwnies, only to have them ripped away  .

I like most of the changes, the shoutbox it's a little weird, takes a lot of space but I'll get used to it.
Thanks to the pwnies now I can be broke in teh interwebs  and I love Ask a ranter

They should be shown somewhere in The Maul. Not sure if it's in the lottery buying section or elsewhere.
