Yeah, that's all very true. Except the part about geeks not getting drunk. I have been to many a LAN party with a full bar, and everyone partaking. Ever tried to play half life with a serious buzz on? Anyway, geeks like to party too. But usually like to keep it under control. Geeks aren't generally going to drink untill blacking out. Although I've been there a few times.

Also, someone commented about how awesome geek girls are. I agree wholeheartedly. There's nothing sexier than a girl who can fix her own computer, kick my ass at soul calibur II, and write her own webpage using notepad. If I ever get my hands on a girl like that again, I'm going to marry her.

Insulting? Extremely? How insulting can something be if it is true? It's not like anyone in this thread is making fun of anybody. I'm more than happy if someone paints those like me in a good light, especially if the end goal is to improve my social life aka my perpetual weakness.

Furthermore, most geeks cringe at the thought of being most other kinds of people. Some react with extreme violence when someone mentions cheerleaders and football players. Just some food for thought.
